Vaccinating Canines Is Important For Their Overall Health And Well-Being, As Well As The Health Of Other Dogs They May Come In Contact With. When Attending A Training Facility, Dogs Are Often In Close Proximity To Other Dogs, Which Increases The Risk Of Spreading Infectious Diseases. Vaccinations Help Prevent The Spread Of Diseases Such As Parvovirus, Distemper, And Rabies, Which Can Be Deadly If Left Untreated. By Keeping Dogs Up-To-Date On Their Vaccinations, Our Training Facility Can Provide A Safe And Healthy Environment For All Dogs In Attendance. All Vaccinations Must Be Up To Date. See Below For Our Required Vaccinations.
We mandate the following vaccinations. If there's a valid reason for not vaccinating, we will require veterinary notification and may decline enrollment. Please be aware that vaccination schedules may vary based on your dog's initial series, so consult your veterinarian for specific details.
The rabies vaccination for dogs is a critical preventive measure. It safeguards not only your pet but also human health by preventing the spread of rabies, a deadly viral disease. In many regions, it is a legal requirement to ensure the well-being of both animals and communities. Regular vaccination helps protect your dog from rabies and contributes to public safety.
The DHPP vaccination for dogs is a vital immunization that guards against several highly contagious diseases: Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus), Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza. Administered as a combination vaccine, DHPP provides comprehensive protection, helping to keep your dog healthy and preventing the spread of these serious illnesses.
The Bordetella vaccination for dogs, often known as the kennel cough vaccine, is crucial for preventing respiratory infections caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica and other related pathogens. It's especially important for dogs that interact with other dogs in places like boarding facilities, groomers, and dog parks, as it helps reduce the risk of kennel cough and ensures the overall health and well-being of your pet.
The K9 influenza vaccination for dogs protects against canine influenza viruses, which can cause respiratory illness in dogs. This vaccine is particularly important for dogs that have a higher risk of exposure, such as those in close contact with other dogs at boarding facilities, dog shows, or communal settings. It helps safeguard your dog's health and minimizes the risk of illness due to canine influenza.
Not Required - But Strongly Recommended.
Flea and tick medication is essential for your pet's well-being. It provides protection against these parasitic pests that can cause various health issues, including skin irritation, allergies, and the transmission of diseases. By administering regular flea and tick medication, you ensure your pet's comfort and reduce the risk of potential health problems, while also promoting a healthier and safer environment for your family.
Not Required - But Strongly Recommended.
Spaying and neutering for dogs is a surgical procedure that offers numerous benefits. Spaying (for females) and neutering (for males) help control the pet population, reduce the risk of certain diseases, and prevent unwanted behaviors such as aggression and roaming. These procedures contribute to a longer, healthier life for your dog and play a vital role in responsible pet ownership.

Full vaccination is a requirement for all our programs and services. The only exception is our Explorer puppy class, which allows puppies aged 8 - 16 weeks with vaccinations based on their age-appropriate schedule.
In cases of severe medical conditions, particularly heart problems in dogs, we mandate a preliminary evaluation by a veterinarian before enrolling them in our training services or programs. Enrollment is contingent upon the veterinarian's medical clearance, and we require documented proof of clearance from the vet prior to admission.
We accept intact dogs in our program, but we strongly recommend spaying or neutering unless you have specific breeding plans. Clients are encouraged to consult their veterinarian for guidance on the appropriate timing for spaying or neutering.
In addition, for female dogs, if they are in a heat cycle, they must refrain from participating in our program until the entire cycle is completed. This precaution helps prevent issues related to reproduction and aggression with other dogs.
Prior to enrollment, your dog must receive staff approval, including the verification of all required vaccinations. If you don't have a vaccination record, you can request your vet to contact us to confirm vaccinations, email a copy of your vaccination report, obtain a copy from your vet's office, or bring it with you on your dog's first day.
