Full Grooming Services Available

We highly recommend making advance appointments. Full grooming appointments are typically scheduled about a week in advance, possibly longer, depending on our groomer's availability. Brush and bath services offer more flexibility in scheduling.

You are not required to be a prior client to avail of our grooming services. However, depending on the groomer's discretion, we may request an evaluation before confirming a service appointment. Please note that all grooming clients, regardless of their previous association with us, must sign waivers and provide proof of vaccination before receiving services. Your dog's well-being and safety are our utmost concern.

Our salon is situated on the upper level of our facility. In certain cases, your dog may be required to navigate the stairs. Our staff will make every effort to assist your dog safely. However, if your dog's weight exceeds what our staff can handle, and your dog refuses to climb the stairs, we may need to decline your appointment. Please understand that our goal is to accommodate every dog to the best of our ability while prioritizing their safety and well-being.

You are welcome to bring your own shampoo if your dog has sensitivities to specific products or if you have a preference. We will utilize your provided product following the instructions on the bottle. If you prefer unscented products, kindly communicate this requirement with a staff member or your groomer prior to the service. Your dog's comfort and preferences are important to us.

Our grooming services are exclusively for canines, and our groomer adheres to ethical standards when providing various haircuts for dogs. We perform cutting services only on specific coat types that are recommended for such treatment. Please note that if a client requests a service involving the shaving or cutting of a coat type not typically recommended for such treatment, the groomer may choose to decline the request. Your dog's well-being and the ethical treatment of their coat are paramount to us.

Before commencing any services, our groomer and staff will conduct a thorough evaluation of your dog's skin and coat. If any open wounds, skin conditions, or potential health risks are identified, we may request veterinary approval before proceeding with the service. Please be aware that our groomer retains the discretion to decline services in cases involving health conditions or associated risks.

Additionally, for senior dogs and pregnant dogs, we may require veterinary approval in advance of spa appointments, although final decisions will be made at the groomer's discretion. Your dog's safety and well-being remain our top priority.

Our groomer primarily uses handheld dryers for most dogs, but we also have cage dryers on-site if needed. When cage dryers are used, dogs are continuously monitored by our groomer, ensuring they are never left unattended. If a dog doesn't tolerate the drying process well, they may need to remain damp, and our groomer will communicate any challenges during the process. Your dog's safety and comfort are our top priorities.

Our groomer is dedicated to accommodating all dogs to the best of her ability. However, if your dog displays aggression, our groomer may need to use a muzzle or adjust the service to align with your dog's tolerance level. In cases of extreme aggression where safety is a concern, the groomer may decide not to proceed with the service.

If any issues arise during the grooming process, we will promptly contact the owner listed in our records. Depending on the circumstances, the owner may be responsible for the cost of the full service. The safety and well-being of both your dog and our staff are paramount.

Basic husbandry and grooming practices are crucial to start during puppyhood, particularly for breeds that require regular grooming, such as poodles, curly coated retrievers, long-haired breeds, and poodle mixes.

If your dog has severe matting, please be aware that our groomer may need to modify the intended haircut style and length to better accommodate the dog's condition. Our groomer will make every effort to remove all mats from the coat. Regular grooming and brushing at home are essential to prevent severe matting, which can be uncomfortable for dogs and lead to skin issues, infections, and bacterial concerns. Your dog's well-being is our priority.

If your dog experiences any discomfort or reactions to a product used during grooming, please promptly inform your groomer. Our groomer strives to select products tailored to each dog's needs, but it's essential for owners to communicate any allergies or sensitivities in advance.

In the event of a delayed reaction after grooming, we recommend reaching out to inform us. Our staff will make a record to avoid using that product in the future and may request an alternative product from you. Please note that our groomer is not liable for any skin conditions, reactions, or issues that may arise due to a product. Your dog's comfort and well-being are our utmost concern.

We do not provide anal gland expression services, and we highly recommend consulting your trusted veterinarian for this specific procedure. However, if your dog experiences anal gland expression and you require a spa appointment, we will make every effort to accommodate you as soon as possible, subject to availability. Your dog's comfort and well-being are our top priorities.

Dogs should be bathed as necessary to prevent excessive washing, which can remove natural oils from the coat. Bathing frequency can vary based on factors such as breed, exposure to dirt, debris, and individual needs. Show dogs may require more frequent baths to maintain their appearance.

For safety reasons and to ensure a stress-free environment for the dogs being groomed, we kindly request that all clients remain outside of our grooming area during appointments. If you have any questions or inquiries about the service or its outcome, please feel free to ask the groomer directly.

Grooming appointments vary in duration, ranging from 30 minutes to several hours, influenced by factors such as the dog's coat, temperament, stress level, additional services, and behavior during the appointment. If you require a specific pick-up time, please communicate this at the start of your appointment or during your booking inquiry. While we strive to accommodate requests, please understand that our groomer may not always be able to complete the service within the desired time frame.

In the event that your dog becomes highly stressed during the grooming service, we prioritize their safety and may need to pause and reschedule the appointment over multiple sessions to better accommodate your dog's needs. If this occurs, there may be additional costs associated with the service, which will be discussed with you by the staff member or groomer providing the service. Your dog's well-being is our primary concern.

If your dog is found to have fleas during their service, you may incur charges for flea shampoo and potential additional service fees. Clients with dogs having fleas may be required to provide veterinary proof of flea and tick treatment for future services or may be requested to pick up their dog promptly. If the skin and coat are excessively irritated due to flea and tick issues, we may have to decline the service, and the full cost will still apply.

Additionally, if your dog is found to have skunk odor, we may add an additional charge for deskunking shampoo. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.

Indeed, proof of vaccinations is mandatory for all our services. We require documentation for rabies, DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza), bordetella, and K9 influenza. While not obligatory, we strongly recommend flea and tick treatment, especially when your dog is in proximity to other dogs. Your cooperation in maintaining a safe and healthy environment is greatly appreciated.

If you're unsure about the specific clipper blade size, you can show our groomer a series of pictures to help convey the desired look. Our groomer will make every effort to achieve the style you envision. However, please keep in mind that not all looks can be perfectly replicated on your dog, as various factors, including your dog's coat condition, may affect the outcome. Your groomer will strive to provide the best result possible.

Currently, we do not provide at-home grooming services. To schedule grooming for your pet, please contact us and arrange an appointment at our facility.
